This year, 400 participants took to the trails, supported by 49 volunteers and staff who helped make the 19th Annual Run Hike for Red Deer Hospice possible. Together, they helped reach the $60,000 fundraising goal in support of compassionate end-of-life care in Central Alberta.
Recently, four generations of one family gathered here to spend time with their mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Laureen, during her final days.

Recently, a few couples at Hospice shared a special Date Night — candlelit tablescapes, a thoughtful menu prepared by our chefs, and in-room service from our amazing volunteers.

It was wonderful to see all those who joined us for our 2024 Hospice Handbag Lunch on September 18th, 2024, and it was exciting to witness the enthusiasm of those who participated in the auction. Thanks to you, we have raised over $20,000!
On June 21st, hundreds of Painted Lady butterflies were individually packed and distributed via curbside pick up at Red Deer Hospice as part of their Live Butterfly Campaign. Running for its fourth year, the fundraiser offered individuals the opportunity to purchase live butterflies and release them in a location that was meaningful to them while supporting end-of-life care in Central Alberta.
