18th Annual Run Hike for Hospice

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us for the 18th Annual Run Hike for Hospice this past weekend.  It was a meaningful day filled with connection, community spirit, and remembrance.  We had over 450 participants and volunteers involved this year — which speaks volumes about the love and support this community has for our home.

Run Hike for Hospice isn’t about speed or competition — it’s about gathering together to honour loved ones and walk with purpose.  Many people participated in memory of someone special, and that brought a powerful energy to the day.

While donations are still being accepted until June 15, we’re thrilled to share that, so far, the event has raised over $65,000, surpassing our original goal of $55,000!  All funds raised go directly toward resident comfort and care at Red Deer Hospice — from music therapy and meals to essential equipment and bereavement supports.  Thank you for helping us highlight that Red Deer Hospice isn’t just a place of care — it’s a place where final memories are made, and where connection continues.
